I needed to upgrade my power supply. So this was a good one with 500 Watt of power not so noisy. But the number of connectors are less. Overall I like this product and it runs my dual core unit without any trouble.

This is a well built cost conscious unit. It has limited connectors and short cables so I used it in a HTPC unit. OCZ reduced the number of molex connectors and added SATA connectors. The number and type of connectors may vary according to manufacture date. It is a very good psu for small micro or HTPC cases that benefit from shorter cables.

I purchased a Dell system and recently needed a power supply upgrade in order to support the latest Nvidia video card. Removed the ATX power supply in my Dell Vostro 400 and easily replaced it with this one. This 500 watts was more than enough to power my quad core, 2 dvd drives, 1 hard drive, and 8800gt video card. It's pretty quiet too.
